Text Box: Candlelight Christmas Eve Worship

Our annual candlelight service will be at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve.
This is a beautiful service to celebrate the coming of Jesus into the world.
We try to make it as family-friendly as we can. Make sure to invite a friend or someone you know who needs a little extra boost of Christmas spirit!

Annual Congregational Meeting and Report Deadline

The 2018 congregational meeting will be on Sunday, January 20, directly after church. We’ll talk about what happened at St. John’s in 2018 and vote on the 2019 budget. Afterwards we’ll eat! Plan on attending so you can hear what’s happening at church and have a voice, and plan on bringing your best dish to pass.

If you’re responsible for providing a report for the annual meeting, please email it by January 2, 2019 to office@stjlutheran.com.

Christmas Pageant

Our annual pageant will be on December 16th. There are plenty of roles (speaking and non-speaking) open for kids from ages 1—high school. If you want to have a role, help out behind the scenes or have any questions, please see Laura Leedle.

Text Box: Secret Santa
St. John’s is again helping with the Alden-Hebron Elementary School Secret Santa program by adopting some needy local kids. Take as many angels as you’d like from the tree in the entryway, and purchase the gifts listed on them.

Please bring the UN-WRAPPED gifts with the angel tags ATTACHED to church by
December 3. If possible, include a gift receipt.

The school kids will bring the gifts to church on Monday, December 17, at noon. If you’re available for about 30 minutes, they’d love some help unloading the gifts.
